A+ Exam Prep

A+ certification is the industry-recognized credential for technical support and information technology jobs such as help desk technician, technical support specialist, and desktop or systems support administrator. This course is designed for individuals who have basic computer skills and who are interested in obtaining a job as an entry-level IT technician. This course is also designed for students who are seeking the A+ certification and want to prepare for the exams. Topics covered include operating systems, PC components, display and multimedia devices, internal system components, network infrastructure, users, workstations, shared resources, client virtualization and cloud computing, security, laptops, mobile devices, print devices and operational procedures. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be ready to sit for the two exams required to earn the A+ certification. Lab and two exam vouchers included. Textbook required.
