The course introduces the student to basic vehicle skills and operations for handling commercial vehicles to include, shifting procedures, coupling and uncoupling, backing, parking, speed/space management, FMCSA/DOT regulatory requirements. Skills are taught in the classroom, on a simulator, and hands on in the vehicles on a closed range.
