Introduction to Makerspaces

What is a makerspace? If you've ever wondered about the answer to this question, this course aims to break it down. 

At the CSM Velocity Center, you'll have access to a makerspace where you can utilize 3D printers and basic hand and electronics tools after taking this course. You'll understand basic makerspace procedures and etiquette, and the safety involved with being a makerspace patron. 

Furthermore, upon completion of this course, you will be eligible for advanced equipment courses offered to provide specialized training for our laser cutters, vinyl printer/cutter, and more. 

This course includes the first month's membership to access the CSM Velocity Center Makerspace, so you'll be able to get a feel for what being a maker is all about right away!
