American Sign Language Part II is designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL). Emphasis will be placed on enhancing familiarity through dialogues and mini-narratives using an immersion approach to language learning. Cultural awareness in the deaf community will also be discussed. Students need to have taken American Sign Language to take this part II class. Textbook required and will be used for all three ASL classes - "Master ASL! Level I."
