In this class you’ll study ethical theories and philosophical concepts as they apply to real-world situations involving employees, employers, and consumers. Through readings from philosophers, economists, political scientists, and court cases, you’ll explore ethical questions related to corporate responsibility, workforce discrimination, distributive justice, environmental impact, risk, and safety. This course helps you understand how philosophical ethics shape decisions in modern business and everyday work life.
Continuing education students will take this course alongside credit students enrolled in PHL-1430.
