This is an interest form for our community education trip Shades of Ireland: Culture, History, and Landscape.
On this 10-day travel abroad experience, you will explore Ireland’s rich history, culture, and stunning landscapes. Beginning in Dublin, you will take part in guided tours, traditional music, and local cuisine before traveling across the country to visit iconic sites like Blarney Castle and connect with local life, including a visit to the McGill family’s roadside brewery.
Along the way, you will experience highlights such as the Ring of Kerry and the Cliffs of Moher while learning about Ireland’s geography and traditions. Cultural activities—including a jaunting car ride and a sheepdog demonstration—offer insight into rural life and heritage.
Your experience also includes an overnight stay on the grounds of a historic castle, providing a unique opportunity to reflect on Ireland’s past while engaging in a fully guided, immersive journey.
This is a fully guided group tour, and you will be accompanied by professional on-the-ground guides throughout the entire trip, ensuring a structured, informative, and seamless travel experience. This moderately active trip includes daily walking tours across varied terrain. You should be comfortable walking several miles per day over surfaces such as cobblestones and moderate hills.
Your base price is $5,599 per person, which includes 10 days of accommodations, roundtrip airfare, 13 meals, and all scheduled excursions. The initial deposit is $698 and is due at the time of reservation.
