This program prepares Certified Nursing Assistants employed in hospital settings to perform advanced patient care tasks. Training covers EKG monitoring, venipuncture, IV setup, urinary catheter management, wound and ostomy care, splint application, and specimen collection.

To earn this certificate, complete the following courses:
  > HTH-6230 PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN PART 1
  > HTH-6240 PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN PART 2
  > HTH-6250 PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN PART 3

Upon completing the program, students are eligible to take the NHA Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) exam
