Pack your bags and get ready for an exciting adventure across North and South America! In this interactive geography course, young explorers will learn how to read maps using map keys, compass roses, and other important map skills before traveling across two amazing continents. Along the way, students will discover towering mountains, mighty rivers, beautiful lakes, deserts, rainforests, volcanoes, and grasslands while learning about the people, animals, and cultures that make each region unique. From the Inuit of the Arctic and the ancient Aztecs and Maya to the incredible wildlife of the Amazon Rainforest and the towering Andes Mountains, students will explore how people have adapted to different environments throughout history. Through hands-on activities, games, maps, crafts, and engaging discussions, children will develop a greater understanding of geography and a deeper appreciation for the diverse landscapes and cultures of the Americas.
