GED/NEDP Orientation is designed to acclimate new students to the process and policies of the Adult Basic Education program in obtaining their high school diploma. This course serves as a starting point for individuals who are seeking to earn their high school diploma through the GED testing or NEDP process. Whether students have recently decided to pursue their high school diploma or have been out of the traditional educational system for some time, this will set students on the path towards achieving their educational goals. Students must be 18 years of age, have an email address, and be a Maryland resident. If the class is listed as a virtual class, it will be held virtually using the Zoom platform. A Zoom invite will be sent to the student’s email on file at least 1 day prior to the class meeting.
