"Yang" style tai chi forms are the most popular form of tai chi in the world. They are characterized by larger movements focusing on conscious shifting of weight from on leg to the other. Yang form is more challenging than Sun, as it requires particular awareness of body alignment, especially the knee's. Yang forms fluid movements are like "a long flowing river" offering the same peaceful contemplation. Yang tai chi follows the Cheng Man Ching (CMC) style, including: CMC 20 form, CMC 37 form, CMC 60, traditional 108 and 52 Sword form. Class will also include the Yang 16 form, Beijing 24 form and Fu Zhongwhen's long and sword forms.
