Challenge your mind and your making skills in this intensive, lab-style engineering course. Using common household materials, students will tackle complex design problems—from optimizing the axle alignment of balloon-powered rovers to mastering the precision optics of a handmade periscope. This program emphasizes structural integrity, mechanical advantage, and the physics of motion through rigorous, physical testing and prototyping. It is the ultimate hands-on experience for future engineers who want to see exactly how the world works.?
