Certified Clinical Medical Assistants (CCMAs) play a vital role in today’s healthcare teams—preparing patients for examinations, collecting specimens, obtaining vital signs, performing EKGs, and assisting providers during exams and procedures.
This Workforce Training Certificate provides the essential skills and knowledge needed to support both patients and healthcare professionals in clinical settings. Training includes a combination of in-person and online coursework designed to build confidence and competency in patient care and medical office procedures.
To achieve this workforce training certificate, complete the following courses:
> HTH-5330 INTRODUCTION TO CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTING
> HTH-5340 BASIC PROCEDURES FOR MEDICAL ASSISTING
> HTH-5350 ADVANCED PROCEDURES FOR MEDICAL ASSISTING
Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the NHA CCMA exam and may choose to continue their education through a seamless pathway to the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential, providing a smooth pathway for career advancement.
