Hands-on labs allow students to apply the skills they learn as they diagnose, repair, and rebuild two- and four-stroke engines.  Customer service techniques that address competition and building a loyal clientele are introduced. Students successfully completing this program are eligible for employment with businesses that sell and repair or overhaul small engines used to power lawn mowers, chain saws, and related equipment.  Some may select to start their own small business repairing small gas engines.
