Medical administrative assistant duties may include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims, and answering incoming calls. Day-to-day office functions are part of a medical administrative assistants' tasks.  Students completing this program are eligible to take the NHA Certified Medical Administrative Assistant exam. Employment opportunities can include: Hospitals, Urgent care settings and private Physician offices.

Please note this certificate has a 100% attendance requirement.  Students must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
