Personal Enrichment - Driver Education

With comprehensive classes on safety and on-the-road driving instruction and practice, get confidence and training for the driver’s license exam. CSM offers driver education programs, "Alive at 25" defensive driving programs, and driver improvement programs.

1.  We have trained over 20,000 students in Southern Maryland since we opened our first location in 2002.
2.  Our Driver Education program is certified by the Maryland Department of Transportation and the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.
3.  In our surprise audits conducted by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, CSM has received 100% on every audit. This reflects the quality, value, and proficiency of CSM's Driver Education program.
4.  CSM is the largest public Driver Education program in Maryland.
5.  CSM conducts parent /student orientations to help bridge the gap between the new driver, the parents, and the Driver Ed school.
6.  CSM's Driver Education program ranks among the highest first-time test pass rates in the state of Maryland for the provisional license.
7.  CSM has on staff one of 12 state-certified master trainers of Driver Ed instructors. This helps CSM assure the highest quality of all our instructors.
8.  CSM conducts one-on-one training with students and instructors. This ensures a learning environment that is free of unwanted distractions.
9.  CSM instructors provide a pre-brief and a de-brief for each driving session.
10.  CSM has instructors that work with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to effectively communicate changes in the curriculum as needed.
