Calling all junior detectives! Join instructor Justine Goodyear from the GEaRS (Global Education and Research Services) team as students become investigators that follow the clues to unlock the mysteries of how their amazing bodies work and how to keep them in tip-top shape.

The Case: The Human Body is the most complex machine on Earth, but it didn't come with an instruction manual! We have mysteries to solve: Where does our energy actually come from? What does our brain need to thrive? And what is the secret "fuel" hidden in our food?

Your Mission: Grab your magnifying glass and lab coat! In this investigative lab, students become Junior Special Agents on a mission to uncover the secrets of wellness. We won't just talk about health; we're going to find the evidence.
Through hands-on experiments, detective challenges, and real-life "case files," students will crack the codes of nutrition, sleep, hygiene, exercise, emotions, and personal safety. Every class brings a brand-new health mystery to solve — because the best health habits start with understanding the why.

What's Inside the Case Files?
  • The Fuel Investigation: Analyze "suspect" snacks and decode nutrition labels to find the best energy for our bodies.
  • System Sleuthing: Go deep undercover into the different human body systems, like the respiratory and circulatory systems to see how each work together.
  • The Habit Heist: Track down the "stealers" of sleep and focus, and replace them with Super-Habits.
  • Clue Collection: Use real scientific tools to measure reflexes, heart rates, and "brain power."
  • The Armor Breach: Investigate the Immune System's defensive layers and use hygiene "shields" to stop microscopic intruders.
  • And More…
By the end of the semester, every detective will have the "Evidence" they need to keep their own "Biological Machine" running at peak efficiency.

Case Status: OPEN. Are you ready to solve the mystery of YOU?

Please note: To ensure the best learning experience, activities may be modified depending on student needs, resources, or instructional planning.
