Join instructor Juliana La Plant from the GEaRS (Global Education and Research Services) team in Art Discovery Studio, where young artists will explore the exciting world of art through hands-on projects that spark creativity, imagination, and self-expression. This class introduces young learners to multiple themes and dimensions of art, including color, shape, texture, line, pattern, and form, while encouraging experimentation with a variety of materials such as paint, clay, paper, and collage. Students will engage in process-based activities, learning to express ideas visually, observe the world around them, and experiment with different artistic techniques without pressure to create a "perfect" final product. Through collaborative projects, art-based storytelling, and playful exploration, children will develop confidence, fine motor skills, and a deeper appreciation for the creative process, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of art and self-expression.
Please note: To ensure the best learning experience, activities may be modified depending on student needs, resources, or instructional planning.
