Join instructor Debbie Gilligan from the GEaRS (Global Education and Research Services) team in Creative Thinking & Team Building through Improvisation!

Improvisation is more than just making things up — it's one of the best ways to discover how creative and brave you really are! In this class, students work with partners and small groups to dream up and perform their own silly skits and scenes on the spot, strike a pose in tableaux (those are frozen scenes that tell a whole story without saying a word!), use props in wild and unexpected ways, and take on fun challenges that need quick thinking and great teamwork. There are no long scripts, no memorizing lots of lines — just jumping in, and seeing where the scene goes! Every activity is designed to spark imagination, build confidence, and make working together feel like an adventure. Whether you love being on stage or have never tried it before, this is a welcoming, high-energy space where every idea gets a chance and every student gets to shine.

Please note: To ensure the best learning experience, activities may be modified depending on student needs, resources, or instructional planning.
