Develop your drawing skills and advance the development of your observation skills in this beginner drawing class. Learn a variety of techniques for expressing form and light using graphite pencils. You will work from nature, found objects, models, and your imagination. Simple tricks to achieve the representation of proper perspective will be taught. Supplies students will need to buy and have ready for the first class are as follows: graphite pencil set (needs to have a selection of H, B, and an HB), kneaded eraser, white vinyl or plastic eraser, workable spray fixative, spiral bound sketch or drawing book (9X12 or higher), charcoal pencil, pencil sharpener, ruler, and blending stumps and tortillons.
