Overview of Wastewater Treatment

This online course delivered in a Learning Management System (LMS) is designed to provide the operator with basic information related to wastewater systems and their collection operations. This course provides an overview of topics including the Clean Water Act and NPDES permitting; wastewater collection; pollutants; physical, biological and chemical treatment; primary, secondary and advanced treatment; and disinfection. This online course consists of 8 modules covering basic information related to wastewater treatment and associated Maryland related information.
