Advanced Procedures for Clinical Medical Assisting

Is that a good vein for me to draw blood from? Complete your training as a clinical medical assistant. You will learn hands-on skills necessary in a physician office. Highlights of this course include assisting with office exams and procedures, pharmacology, basic wound care, phlebotomy, specimen processing, CLIA waived testing, CDC guidelines for personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection control, and EKG. Must take HTH-5330 and HTH-5340. Upon successful completion of the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Program - HTH 5330/5340/5350, students will be eligible to take the National Healthcareer Association Clinical Medical Assistant Certification Examination.
