If you are looking for a longer kayaking experience and are interested in the rich history surrounding our waterways, join us for this relaxing outdoor excursion along Mallows Bay. A professional guide will provide friendly instruction on use of the kayak and how to paddle with proper technique as they prepare you for a calm water journey. Explore one of the nation's national marine sanctuaries that boasts a collection of historic shipwrecks dating back to the Civil War, as well as archaeological artifacts nearly 12,000 years old. This is a unique and memorable paddling experience that you will surely enjoy! All equipment is provided. Class is being taught by Atlantic Kayaking company. Students will meet at the boat ramp at Mallows Bay Park, 1440 Wilson Landing Road, Nanjemoy, Maryland.
