Home Improvement Contractors repair, renovate, modernize, install, replace, improve, restore, paint, construct, remodel, move, or demolish residential or noncommercial properties.

To offer home improvement services in the State of Maryland, contractors must be licensed by the Maryland Department of Labor. To be eligible for licensing, contractors need to pass a home improvement contractor exam given by PSI Examination Services. Learn More About the Exam
