The Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) program equips CNA/GNAs that have been employed by a long-term care facility for at least one-year. Upon successful completion, CMAs play a crucial role in enhancing patient care, collaborating closely with healthcare teams, and upholding the highest standards of medication management.

Prior to registration, students are required to complete the Work Keys Assessment and achieve a minimum score of 4-4-4.

CNA/GNAs looking to further expand their expertise might consider pursuing a Patient Care Technician certificate as a valuable opportunity to broaden their skill set.
