The aim of the Community Health Worker Certification Course is to equip prospective Community Health Workers with the necessary knowledge, skills and resources to serve as a liaison between health, social services, and the community to ensure equitable access to resources and services and improved health to a community’s diverse health needs through outreach, community education, informal counseling, social support, and advocacy.
