Through fun stories, colorful artwork, and hands-on creative projects, students will learn how masks have been used in celebrations, ceremonies, storytelling, and cultural traditions for generations. Using a variety of art materials and techniques, students will design and create their own masks while exploring patterns, colors, textures, and symbols unique to each culture. This course encourages creativity, imagination, and an appreciation for the rich artistic traditions that connect people around the world.
