Elementary Art: Masks from Around the World

Through fun stories, colorful artwork, and hands-on creative projects, students will learn how masks have been used in celebrations, ceremonies, storytelling, and cultural traditions for generations. Using a variety of art materials and techniques, students will design and create their own masks while exploring patterns, colors, textures, and symbols unique to each culture.
