Phlebotomy Technicians work in hospitals, clinics, and patient service centers, specializing in blood collection and specimen handling. With additional training, they may advance to roles such as Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist, performing specimen preparation, operating analyzers, and conducting manual tests.
Prerequisite: students must take and pass HTH-5000, Introduction into Healthcare.
